Design Process
Web Design
1. The first stage of the design process is a no-obligation chat on the phone to discuss your requirements and gain an understanding of your business, your customer base, target audience and budget. We will discuss your options regarding style, functionality and the number of pages you need to create the website that delivers the results you're looking for.
If you need help to decide what your priorities are, have a look at our advice page ‘Getting the website you want'. The clearer you can be, the quicker we can create a design that will be effective for your business.
2. We'll then write a detailed brief outlining everything we have discussed on the phone and give you a detailed quote for the work.
3. When you are happy with both the brief and the quote, we will proceed with some initial visuals for your approval – mocked-up pages for you to see if you like the design in terms of:
- Ideas
- Colours
- Layout and positioning of the navigational buttons
- Function
You will be able to view these pages from your own computer.
4. Design is an evolutionary process - you may love certain aspects of these initial visuals, be unsure about others or want your own ideas incorporated. Your feedback at this stage is crucial to the process.
5. Now we can start to put the website together. We will communicate closely with you throughout this process and seek your approval of each page as it is created. This will ensure that the site we create does what you need it to do.
6. When the whole site is built and you are happy with everything, we can launch your website on the Internet. You are live!

Logo Design
1. Understanding your company inside out is key to designing an effective logo. We need to know who you are, what you do and who your customers are. You probably know what you don't want. We can help create what you do. Researching your business, listening to you and thinking about your brand will help us create work that accurately reflects the ethos and personality of your business. If you have ideas of your own, great. If you don't, we can give you plenty.
2. We will produce initial design ideas for you to consider. These provide a starting point from which you can narrow down and pinpoint what you want. We will continue to develop the designs, until you have the logo you love.
3. When the design is complete, we will supply you with the logo at whatever size you need. Included in this package is stationery artwork - compliment slip, letterhead and business card, designed in line with your new logo.
Our portfolio details our logo & branding work.
Stationery
1. Company stationery - letterheads, business cards and compliment slips - is usually very straightforward to design. All you need to do is let us have any existing artwork i.e. logos or fonts that you want to use.
If you don't have any or aren't happy with the ones you have, we can design a logo for you and suggest the most suitable fonts for your business.
2. We will design a few initial ideas, then discuss with you how to fine-tune the design.
3. When you are happy, we will arrange to print, finish and deliver the stationery directly to your office. We can guarantee very good prices on top quality printing.

Brochures & Leaflets
1. Brochures and leaflets are a very important marketing tool for your company and good, thoughtful design is an essential element of their success. The impact of the design, though, is dependent on the right layout and use of text and pictures.
After an initial discussion about your requirements we will give you a quote for the job, inclusive of printing if you wish. With our industry contacts, we can ensure excellent prices on many different finishes and papers.
2. If the price is right and you're happy to go ahead, we'll collate the material you already have – copy, pictures or artwork. The words and the pictures are equally important to the end result – if you need help with either, we can point you in the direction of professional assistance at reasonable rates.
To discover what works for you – and what doesn't – it's useful at this stage to have a look at any existing publicity material you have, especially any that didn't achieve the results you were hoping for.
3. We can then start to work on the initial design of the brochure and give you some options to consider, demonstrating how different layouts will work. These can be sent by email or as proofs whichever is easier for you.
4. When you are satisfied with the design, we will either send you the artwork or print and deliver the brochures to you.
